Standing up your India capability centre
Tech at the core. Non-IT all around it.
India’s capability centres are no longer engineering-only. Finance and accounting, HR shared services, procurement,
supply chain, analytics, customer operations and facilities now carry the bulk of GCC headcount — and every one of
those is a role library we already maintain and hire against.
From site selection to a running floor: one partner, one account owner.
How a GCC build runs
01
City and site feasibility
Talent availability, competitor density, salary benchmarks and attrition norms across Pune,
Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Delhi NCR and Tier-2 alternatives — mapped before the site is
committed.
02
Leadership and core team
first
Centre Head, function heads, financial controller, HR lead and transition manager hired through
confidential search, so the anchor team is in place before volume hiring opens.
03
Phased volume ramp-up
&A, HR operations, procurement, supply chain, analytics and customer operations hired in
agreed waves — walk-in drives, pooled assessments and weekly milestone reporting.
04
Payroll, compliance and
steady state
Contract staff carried on our payroll with PF, ESI and Shops & Establishment obligations owned
by us, converting to your rolls as the centre matures. Replacement assurance throughout.

Why a non-IT specialist is the right GCC partner
The technology headcount in a capability centre is the part every staffing firm competes for. The functions that
actually determine whether the centre runs — controllership, payroll, procurement, planning, customer operations,
facilities and EHS — are non-IT roles, hired against non-IT role libraries, in a non-IT labour market. That is the
market we were built for.
GCC page FAQs
What is a GCC?
A Global Capability Centre is an offshore centre owned and operated by a multinational to run its own business
functions — typically finance and accounting, HR shared services, procurement, supply chain, analytics, customer
operations and technology — rather than outsourcing them to a third party. India hosts the largest concentration of
GCCs in the world.
Can you help before we have chosen a city?
Yes, and that is the most useful point to involve us. We provide talent availability, competitor density, salary
benchmarks and attrition norms across the major Indian centres and Tier-2 alternatives, so the site decision is made
against real labour-market data rather than real-estate cost alone.
Do you hire technology roles for GCCs?
Globexcel hires the non-IT functions inside the centre — finance, HR, procurement, supply chain, analytics,
customer operations, facilities and EHS. Engineering and technology roles are supported directly by our parent,
Intelliglobe Infosolutions Pvt. Ltd., and can be introduced under the same engagement.
How do you handle payroll during the ramp-up?
Staff can be carried on Globexcel’s payroll during the ramp-up phase, with PF, ESI and Shops & Establishment
obligations owned by us, and converted to your own rolls as the centre matures. That keeps the centre hiring
before your India entity and payroll infrastructure are fully operational.
